Film Tension and Alignment
Most film jams happen because the tension is wrong. If the film is too loose, it will not track straight and can wrinkle as it enters the forming tube. If it's too tight, it can stretch or even tear. Our machines have a series of rollers and a "dancer arm" that controls this tension. Adjusting it is usually a simple case of turning a knob. Another common error I see is a new roll of film being loaded incorrectly. It must be perfectly centered on the holder. The Science of a Perfect Seal

Incorrect Sealer Settings
The ultrasonic system has settings for power, kaomi, and time. If the power or time is too low, the material won't melt together properly, creating a weak seal.
